I haven’t been publishing. Here’s why.
Hi gang,
Welcome to Issue #21.
Let’s call it: I’ve been quiet.
Not because I had nothing to say—
But because I’ve been rebuilding everything.
My offers. My programs.
Even how I show up in this space.
Here’s what happened:
My clients started asking me to teach.
Not just convene. Not just facilitate.
Actually teach.
At first, I froze. It overwhelmed me.
But it also felt right.
So I took a hard look at the Inner Circle.
I recast it.
New structure.
Deeper support.
Clearer purpose—based directly on what my clients told me they wanted most.
The first workshop in this new chapter?
“Reclaiming Your Power After Harm: Release Internalized Shame, Rebuild Confidence, and Reclaim Agency.”
It was raw and powerful.
One woman shared how a personal tragedy was weaponized as a reason to stall her path to equity.
Another confessed that she has trouble trusting perfectly kind colleagues—after previous ones backstabbed her.
We all carry things.
And those things shape how we lead, ask for business, and claim our space.
What This Means for You
If you're navigating power, pressure, and performance, here are 3 things I want you to know:
1. Confidence is rooted in your nervous system.
You don’t need to feel "fearless" to lead.
But you do need a regulated nervous system to take risks (such as those required to pitch, decline, or speak up) without spiraling.
2. Boundaries don’t start with others. They start with you.
If you're overdelivering, your internal script probably says you should.
Rewrite the script before you rewrite your schedule.
3. Power requires repair.
Before chasing the next client or promotion, ask:
What version of me is going after this?
Power built on shame is brittle.
Power built on compassion, directed inward?
Unstoppable.
These are the conversations I’ve started bringing into the Inner Circle—and I’ll soon be teaching them more widely.
Yes, business development still matters.
Always will.
But the emotional intelligence that makes it sustainable?
That’s where we start.
Stay tuned—because subscribers like you will get first access to my next offering.
And it's any day now--we're sprinting!
Thanks for sticking with me through the quiet.
I’m coming back with fire and clarity.
xo,
Rachel
