Can work give you energy? đź‘€

 Hi gang,

Welcome to Issue #23.

You’re feeling like it’s never enough.

Work has you… exhausted. Unenthused. Inert.

You wonder:
What’s wrong with me? Do I just need a nap? Coffee? Chocolate?

And then another day goes by.
And another.
And another.

You keep working—but it’s never enough.

You start to question:
Am I doing something wrong?
When will I finally get to relax?
And—if you’re brave—you ask:
Is it possible to be relaxed… while I work?

(That woman? It’s been me. And here’s what I’ve learned—the hard way.)

Here’s the pattern:
➡️ When our drive comes from fear of falling behind? Burnout.
➡️ From needing to prove ourselves? Comparison and resentment.
➡️ From self-criticism? Paralysis and deadened energy.

But when your actions come from Love (yes, with a capital L)?
That’s when energy flows.
That’s when work gives something back.

Try this—just once this week.

Start with how you talk to yourself.
Before a high-stakes moment, pause and ask:

“What would I say to a close friend in this moment?”
Then offer yourself that same tone, that same grace.

So, instead of:

“You’re behind. Everyone’s watching.”
Try:
“You care deeply. Let’s do this one step at a time.”

Next, how you let yourself rest.

After that brutal deadline—
Would you berate a friend and shove her back to her desk?
Or run her a bath, walk her around the block, hand her a novel?

You deserve that same compassion. That same care.
This is how we flip the fuel source.

🗓️ Join me live TOMORROW (Tuesday, June 24 at 12PM ET):
“What if work gave you energy again?”

This isn’t about doing less.
It’s about doing it from a place that fuels you.
Because Love—not hustle—isn’t just more sustainable.
It’s the only source of sustainable energy.
